About Me
I live in Canada; Halifax, Nova Scotia. Been here my whole life. I'm here to meet people that I have things in common with. Or that I just like regardless. Also to explore my interest in ritual magic and explore spirituality from a pragmatic POV. I'm not very good at making friends, or perhaps because I'm very picky.

-I have two substancial altars
-Found my ritual knife in the housewares section of a Superstore. Other knives came as gifts. My knife/sword collection is... isn't huge, yet, but it's growing finally.
-My Satanic Samurai altar is still a long way off, however, I'm using the space to display the three knives I currently own. I was eyeing three more sexy knives in that same housewares isle. My tastes in knives means I do not have to spend an arm and leg on a knife from some over-priced ritual supply store. Never underestimate the fantastic items one can find in the non-food sections of the Joseph Howe Superstore. When the local Supermarkets began expanding their selection more beyond food is a special day in the history of David. Plus, I'm so faggy, I explore the Housewares and candle sections for fun even with no money and no prospects. I quite like my Butchqueen (http://www.myspace.com/deepdickollective) ways.
-I've found a lover to put up with me and she is an intelligent, smart, fantastic person. Only problem is she lives in Chicago and is experiencing phone-problems. SSDD. I promised myself that I would not get involved in a long-distance thing once again but, being in a generous mood, I allowed myself to unseal the wax. Denise is too good to be true, folks. She's almost my dream woman. I wouldn't call it love exactly; we have similar feelings on that. She and I have decided to take it slow. We're not committed and, speaking of her dream girl quality, we would not be so comitted if we did in fact find that we loved each other truely, if a miracal happened and I could move out with her. As it is, we're planning two or three visits. One, her visiting her in March. Two, Me visiting there for up to three weeks in April. Four, a possible 'nother visit on my part to spend gay pride with her.
-Participated in my first group ritual. Some of the local neo-Pagans really aren't such hippies as it would seem. It's probably the group which I joined. I had a feeling about them and it paid off. It's like when I rummage through the cheap video bins at the grocery store, read the back of a movie that looks interesting and yet I've never heard of, think on it for 10-20 minutes and my instincts come up with some damn good shit. Just watched The Art of Woo finally and that was a fabulous movie. Do you know how picky I am with movies? Anyway, the ritual was good, I was able to read for the Western Quarter (which I worked hard on and love the end result) and it was just... great. There's a sweet old lady in that group who imbodies LaVey's Lower Satanic Magic pretty well.
Pictures of my princess:
I think I like her best with short hair. Androgeny+Denise = i is ded from hapy. But she's pretty in long hair, too.
And finally? HAIL Y Draig Goch! You fucked up that White Dragon good, redboy. (David hath been reading).
I need to find a goth club, or goth theme night around here. Goth is the most beautiful style. It's visual ecstasy and I'm the only one I know who dresses remotely gothy. It is a sad state of affairs, folks. It's so bad that a neighbour was actually going to freely give me their black nail polish (but now she can't find it).
But who wants to go to a club without a date, or friends. Not me. If I'm going to drink and listen to music, on the off chance that my shy-a** will have a fun social night, I'd rather just get drunk and listen to music here. But what kind of attitude is that? I'll never find any friends that way, or have any fun. I just don't know the sort of person that I really am. Am I loner, or is it my social anxiety? If I have a disappointing night I know it's going to make me feel bad.
So try, or not. To try, or not to try; that is the question.
I think I'll try.
p.s. My breathing is better.
p.p.s Covenspace profanity filters are really cramping my style.
p.p.p.s Anyone know if there's a group on here for Halifax, or Nova Scotia goth folk?
Just found out that Queer Prom Halifax has a
pirate theme. You dress up as a pirate. Sounds fun but... it's so near.
Likely I won't go. But I want to try. I get my cheque a little before
then. It'd be fun, dressing up as a gothy kinda faggy Satanic pirate.
Eye-patch, toy sword, thick metal neck chain, inverted cross, leather
jacket, black dress shirt, eyeliner, bandana, nail polish, lip gloss.
All I have pant-wise is black jeans though. The green pants won't work;
not for a pirate. I haven't thought much about pirate pants before.
It's at the Holiday Inn on Robie street. Yay for another place I've
never been too? Makes it even harder for me to get up the courage to
go. And I'm just about done talking to jerk bus drivers.
And maybe I can dye my hair before then (what little hair I have now - tear). Purple. Or red.
Where ya been, Baji??? Not that I haven't been away from Covenspace for several days myself... have had a lot going on... but I do hope all is well with you, and your breathing is better. Hope too that you'll check out and join my new group Crossroads Covenant, for dialogues between Satanists and non-. It COULD be interesting, cackle... :-)
